Installation ~
An irrigation system is more than a luxury to have! They give us our time back from moving those hoses around trying to cover your plants, flowers and landscape. You are less likely to over water with a properly installed and adjusted system. You will water at the proper times. Usually late at night or early morning is the best watering time. You waste water and money if watering during the hottest parts of the day.
MIS installs residential and commercial irrigation systems.
- We will come out to the property and create a design specific to the properties needs. We will research your soil, plants, and landscape needs. We determine your plumbing requirements, where to pull the water from, such as lake pumps, city or well. We will work with the plumber to get the water running correctly. We will go over the material intended to use to get proper coverage. Then we will see if there are any specific needs you may want, such as drip irrigation in planters or plant beds. We now have a good idea of your new irrigation system and will give you an estimate to look over and make any changes if necessary.
- Once we have finalized the details, we will start to install your new system. Using a trencher to cut the pipe line, we are careful to keep the cuts neat and clean so it comes together smoothly. After system is running, these cuts will disappear quickly.
- After the system and controller are all installed, we will walk the property with you and show you how to run the system. We will show you how to run your controller. Often with the newer controllers, you can run them from you phone. We will help show you how to adjust sprinkler patterns.
Irrigation Design
Minnesota Irrigation Systems, LLC. is available to provide professional design and planning assistance for residential and commercial irrigation systems. The following factors play a key role in efficient, effective sprinkler system design / layout:
- Coverage Area: MIS will measure and sketch the yard. Sprinkler heads will be positioned so that there is 100% lawn coverage and there are no dry spots.
- Water Supply: Understanding how much water is available and the water pressure aids MIS in ensuring that good water pressure and volume is maintained throughout the system.
- Equipment Requirements: MIS will determine the number of zones required & how many and what type of sprinkler heads are required per zone
Irrigation Installation
Our irrigation systems are professionally designed to offer the best possible coverage and performance. This means 100% overlap on every head, which allows us to guarantee "FULL COVERAGE", ensuring all lawn areas receive the proper amount of water. We are experienced in designing systems with well water, city water, and pumping from rivers & lakes. MIS will install a rain sensor for FREE. This device not only shuts the system down when it rains, but restarts it when conditions return to dry, allowing for a worry free season. We also offer top of the line Hunter irrigation products such as, ICC & PRO-C controllers, PGP & I-20 rotary sprinkler heads, PRO-SPRAY sprinkler heads and PGV control valves.
